How to Shut’em Up

Did you ever see that comedian Ron White? He’s one of the Red Neck Tour guys. He’s the one with the glass of scotch and the stogie on stage. If not check him out he’s a riot.

Why should you care? Well …Ron White has this routine about the Diamond people from Debeers and their “Leave Her Speechless” Diamond campaign. Anyways his take on the ad campaign is that they are getting close to truth in advertising that they really should have said what they meant. He claims that what they really were saying is that give her a diamond That will shut her up(at least for a little while).

 

So it leads me to pontificate(like that word don’t you?) on the subject, How do you shut them up? Now I know the topic itself(obnoxiously) assumes that shutting somebody up is necessary.

 

Since I am writing this in a relationship subject area(as opposed to a criminal co-defendant area) and I am a man and based upon my reference to the “speechless campaign” you can safely assume I am talking about shutting up women.

 

(I didn’t think women would mind as much if I started with the diamond story you know because maybe they would think I was recommending buying her diamonds).

 

So does your woman talk too much? Does she nag you relentlessly? Does she tell you long rambling stories about people and things which you either don’t know or don’t care about(or both) and expect you to not only appear to pay attention but to actually know what she’s talking about? Does she call you on your cell phone and jabber away ruining your music or your peaceful car ride? Does she complain to you and about you not doing enough or that she has to do everything?

 

Ok Ok I get it. So now what was I saying Oh yeah How to shut them up.

 

Well we talked about jewelry that works but as Ron White pointed out usually only temporarily(and its expensive). Sex that can work too that usually shuts them up for a while. Now how about a steady dose of sex and plenty of romance, throw in a little jewelry or some other tokens of your affection and you just might accomplish your goal.(Assuming your goal is a nice peaceful healthy relationship wherein your spouse does not overly intrude upon your personal time with idle chatter.)

 

That is the goal right? So to summarize You can get your woman to Shut up when you want. How? By joining OUR DATE NIGHT and providing your woman with all the essentials to have your relationship flourish because remember a satisfied happy woman makes for a satisfied happy man. Gotta Go She’s saying something to me again
